How to use the Rolljak AI Question Generator

Customize Your Session Preferences: On the session builder, click the Generate Question button in the left column. Here, you can see the options to generate questions: Topic, Text, URL, or Document.

Use Rolljak's AI to automatically generate questions

If you choose Topic or Text tab, you can enable Specify Grade to adjust the questions based on grade level. We offer levels from Grade 1 to Ph.D. However, you can leave it disabled if you don't need a specific grade.

On the Topic tab, you can enable Specify Skill. We use Bloom's taxonomy model to classify the learning outcomes you want to focus on. Choose from the six skill levels: remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, or create.

However, if you have your own digital material, you can use it to generate questions using AI. For online sources, simply copy-paste the link in the URL tab. If you have materials on your device, upload them in the Document tab (supported file formats: PDF, Doc, Docx). Since you have specific material on hand, neither format supports customized inquiries such as specifying a grade or specifying a skill.
Adjust other settings like Number of Activities, and Preferred Activity Type. For now, the AI Question Generator can only generate three questions at a time. If you need to add more questions, you will need to re-generate them.
Generate: Click "Generate Questions" to let the AI algorithm process your preferences. It will create a list of questions based on your criteria. The processing time depends on complexity and question quantity.

Review and edit the generated questions as desired. Modify wording, reorder, add media, and description, or manually include more questions. For activities such as Sketch It Out, Open Ended, Picture It, you can enable the Collaboration and Evaluation features.
To add more questions using AI, simply repeat the process during the same session. It's as easy as that!
Save for later or proceed to review and Go Live.
