Peer Evaluation
π° Peer Evaluation is a Rolljak feature that allows participants to evaluate each other's responses with 3 different methods of evaluation. Evaluation is done anonymously so good ideas will definitely shine.
How does Peer Evaluation work?
When you enable Peer Evaluation, participants will randomly and anonymously evaluate each other's responses.
These different peer evaluation options provide various approaches for assessing and providing feedback on peers' work or ideas. The use of anonymity can contribute to a fair and impartial evaluation process by reducing potential biases.
What are the different peer evaluation options?
Scales!
- This option involves participants evaluating their peers' work by assigning scores based on predefined factors or criteria. These factors can be customized to fit the specific context or goals of the evaluation. For example, if you're evaluating a team's project, the criteria might include teamwork, communication, innovation, and so on.
- Participants provide numerical ratings or scores for each factor, allowing for a quantitative assessment of performance.

Invest!
- In this peer evaluation option, participants are given a virtual budget (e.g., $1000) and are asked to decide how they want to allocate their funds among different ideas or projects presented by their peers. They can choose which ideas to invest in and specify the amount of their investment.
- This approach introduces an element of competition, as participants must make strategic decisions about where to allocate their resources based on their perceived value of each idea.

Tags!
- With the "Tags!" option, participants have the flexibility to use preset tags or create their own to categorize and label different ideas or contributions. These tags can help participants provide a qualitative assessment of the work.
- Tags can be used to highlight specific strengths, weaknesses, or characteristics of the ideas, making it easier to identify trends or patterns in the feedback.
There're some settings for Tags
- Allow participants to create tags: Participants will be able to add their own custom tags and use one another's tags in real time. Custom tags can be moderated by you to prevent bad entries. Watch this video to see how Participants do with this feature.
- Allow participants to assign multiple tags per evaluation: Participants will be able to assign multiple tags per response
